Before becoming a CPA and CFO, I spent years working in my dad's accounting office and other small businesses learning what it takes to run a professional family business. Additionally, with years of services as a nonprofit volunteer, an active Girl Scout member and leader, and years coaching Special Olympics showed me the value of what nonprofits have to offer and the complexities of programming, staffing, fund raising, and special events. Being a horsewoman taught me how to approach each challenge with strength, patience, and lot of common sense problem solving.
