I love to make sense of your organization's finances and share that information with your team. Our goal is to work with you to design and manage an accounting system that is efficient for you. Then we can design, prepare, and present meaningful reports, allowing everyone on your team to feel comfortable participating in the financial management.
With a master's degree in Nonprofit Leadership from USD and experience as a nonprofit Controller, I enjoy problem-solving. My strengths are in helping new set up accounting systems, training staff to use the systems, and working with staff all year long to keep you on track. You can come to me with questions on accounting software, grants or pledges, or budgets and how to best record those.
Let me do the heavy lifting on your accounting transactions. I can tackle the daily, weekly, or monthly processing of your deposits, expenses, and payroll so you can focus on guiding your organization to success.
While earning my Economics degree at UC Santa Barbara, I was the Vice-Chair of the Tenants Union and served as a legal intern to UCSB Legal Resource Center. This work to manage teams, oversee budgets, and resolve conflicts between landlords and tenants gave me unique perspectives on both sides of business issues.
