SPORTS for Exceptional Athletes

Professionally, Carol has focused on the unique financial needs of non-profit organizations.  She is very knowledgeable of the myriad of financial regulations they must abide by and can help organizations conform to the regulations, maintain accurate financial records and comply with annual filings.

When we decided to form our nonprofit organization, we turned to Carol to educate us on the process and file all necessary applications, both Federal and State, for non-profit status.  Carol became our first Treasurer, serving for 3 years, and established our accounting system in QuickBooks, set up our bank accounts and sales tax reporting, and advised on the proper controls for handling funds.

We feel very confident in recommending Carol Stachwick, CPA to other non-profit organizations seeking accounting services.

Sincerely,

What we did for a local General Contractor

We took over his QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop file and uploaded to QuickBooks Online updated 2015 and 2016 transactions for his tax accountant.  Then we linked to his bank accounts and credit cards so it updates every time we open the file. A little later, we created custom Invoices and Estimates from QBO with the company logo and detailed time charges.

Worrying about the accounting has had me contemplating closing shop a few times.  Now that you’ve got it all updated and organized, you give me hope and I’m excited to do things correctly. Got to let you know, I looked at the Estimate you just sent over.  I can’t believe it’s from my company.  Love how you put it together, thank you!

Thank you so much Carol!

Junior League of San Diego

“Carol has gone above and beyond creating a customized curriculum for the 2nd Annual Junior League of San Diego’s Board Academy. She covered a multitude of fiscal topics ranging from board responsibility in relation to budgets, being audit-proof (tips), fiscal reporting,  basic vocabulary, tracking in-kind activities and even understanding the composition of a budget. Her approach was both comprehensive yet approachable for all who attended. We are excited to use her for many future trainings!

Carol has been fantastic. Whether is was helping us put together our accounting system, reviewing our IRS reports or ensuring we appropriately categorize the money our non-profit spent, I’ve never worked with anyone better. Thanks Carol.

San Diego Memorial Society

As the volunteer President of the Board of a nonprofit organization one of my chief concerns is that the financial books are prepared properly, bank accounts are reconciled and government filings are done timely and accurately. Carol’s professionalism and expertise has provided us with reliable and timely reports and guided us through the upgrading of our records to the modern electronic age. Knowing that Carol is available as a resource to us has provided the Board a confidence and trust in our financial records that allows us to focus on our primary mission rather than worrying about the accuracy, reliability or completion of our financial records.
